F A Q S

Who is Hope Spoken for?

Women. You, your sister, your mother, your best friend, women seeking hope in Jesus Christ, and Him alone. This conference is for women of all ages.

Do I need to be a blogger, or small business owner, or mom to attend?

No, no, and no 🙂

What is Hope Spoken all about?

Hope Spoken is about Jesus, and Him in our lives. We hope that you come to this conference and feel loved, refreshed, and inspired. We hope that when you leave here you are motivated to share your story to make Jesus’ story known.

What is included with my conference ticket?

All keynote speakers, four breakout session speakers, and praise and worship throughout the weekend. Dinner Friday night, breakfast, lunch, and dinner Saturday, and breakfast Sunday. Your small group devotional and small group times, and share groups on Saturday night. Amazing swag bags, lots of treats, and the option to shop in our handmade market.

Which airport should I fly into?

You can fly into Dallas/Fort Worth Airport (about 30 minutes from the conference hotel) or Dallas Love Field Airport (about 10 minutes from the conference hotel). If you are looking for transportation to and from the airport we recommend Super Shuttle.

What time do I need to arrive by on Friday? and leave after on Sunday?

The conference will start at 4:00 PM on Friday and end by 11:30 AM on Sunday.

Can you tell me some of your favorite Dallas spots?

We’d love to!

Some of our favorite restaurants are: Breadwinners, The Porch, Company Cafe, Fireside Pies, The Blue Goose Catina, and, of course, In n Out. Eatzies is another favorite, not too far from the conference hotel, that has a large fresh market. Sprinkles Cupcakes and Emporium Pies should not be missed by all those who love sweet treats!

The Dallas Farmer’s Market is open every day from 8am – 6pm.

Some other places to visit: Kylde Warren Park, Dallas Arboretum, Bishop Arts District, Sixth Floor Museum, and Northpark Mall.

I bought a ticket but can no longer attend, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately we cannot not offer any refunds. However, we would suggest trying to sell your ticket through social media using the #hopespoken hashtag. If you are able to sell your ticket you will need to follow these steps to transfer the ticket holder’s name:

1) Login to Eventbrite.
2) Click “My Tickets” at the top. You will see Hope Spoken, click View Order.
3) Click Edit Details & change each information field from your information to the new buyer’s information. After you’ve finished changing up all the information, click the box that says Send confirmation email to new attendee. Click Save.
4) If the new ticket buyer doesn’t already have Eventbrite, they will need to create a login using the email address provided.
5) The new attendee must log in to Eventbrite and click on My Tickets, where they will see Someone has saved you a spot for Hope Spoken. The new attendee must click the Claim Your Ticket button. They will then receive an email from Eventbrite so that they can verify your email address and claim the ticket.

Will there be childcare provided?

No, unfortunately, we are unable to provide childcare. However, if you are a nursing mama, please feel free to bring your infant along.

I would like to share a room with another attendee – how do I go about doing that?

The easiest way to find a roommate for Hope Spoken is to use twitter and instagram to connect with the other women attending, using the #hopespoken hashtag. You can also post on our Facebook wall.

I need gluten free meals at the conference, is this possible?

Yes! We will be offering Gluten Free meals at the conference but cannot provide meals for all dietary restrictions. We thank you in advance for your grace and understanding! Please let us know your diet restrictions when you purchase your ticket. We will have meal options for gluten free only. While we are offering meals for this dietary restriction, please keep in mind that the hotel staff will be serving 250+ women meals and that they can only accommodate special diets to a certain degree. If you have an extreme dietary restriction, we do ask that you bring along some meals/snacks for yourself. Thank you for your understanding.

How many speakers do I get to hear?

This year you will hear three keynote speakers. You will also get to hear four breakout speakers.

Can you tell me a little bit more about the small groups at Hope Spoken?
Small groups will be assigned to you when you arrive on Friday. The groups will have around 11 women each, and meet 4 times throughout the weekend. You will be working through a devotional written by Hannah Singer specifically for Hope Spoken. These groups are the heart of our conference, and we are so excited to have you be a part of them!

I’d like to sponsor the event, donate swag, or have a booth in the handmade market, how can I get involved?

Email us at info@hopespoken.org and we will get you all the information you need!

Can I see the schedule?

We will add the schedule to this website once the event date is closer.

What do I need to bring with me?

Your bible, spending money for our handmade market, your ticket (upload it on your phone!) for registration.
